Our History

We've had a few different looks and a few different names. But through it all, we've stayed wholesome and delicious — for over 100 years.

  • 1900

    Graham cracker popularity and sales inspire a coalition of some U.S. bakeries to form the National Biscuit Company.
  • 1925

    Pacific Coast Biscuit Company in Seattle, Washington introduces Honey Maid Graham crackers.
  • 1930

    National Biscuit Company acquires Pacific Coast Biscuit Company and all its biscuit trademarks, including Honey Maid.
  • 1931

    National Biscuit Company introduces Sugar Honey Maid Graham brand in the western U.S.
  • 1948

    Nabisco Sugar Honey Grahams are introduced in the eastern half of the U.S.
  • 1951

    Nabisco Sugar Honey Grahams is renamed Sugar Honey Maid Graham crackers and introduced in eastern U.S.
  • 1976

    Nabisco Sugar Honey Grahams is renamed Honey Maid Graham crackers.
  • 1987

    Nabisco Cinnamon Graham Treats are renamed Honey Maid Cinnamon Grahams, while Honey Maid Grahams changes to Honey Maid Honey Grahams.

    Honey Maid Chocolate Grahams are introduced.
  • 1995

    Low Fat Honey Maid Honey Grahams and Low Fat Honey Maid Cinnamon Grahams are introduced.
  • 2002

    The package weight changes from 16-ounces to 14.4 ounces for Honey Maid Grahams, Honey Maid Cinnamon Grahams and Honey Maid low fat Grahams.
  • 2005

    Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs (portion control single-serve items) add Honey Maid Cinnamon Thin Crisps to its lineup.
  • 2006

    Honey Maid updates their recipe, increasing the amount of whole grain to 5 grams per serving (twice as much than before).
  • 2008

    Limited Edition Honey Maid Squares (square graham crackers specifically for making S'mores) is introduced.
  • 2010

    Honey Maid introduces a new recipe. HONEY MAID Honey Grahams will have 8 grams of whole grain per serving.
  • 2012

    HONEY MAID introduces a new snack to help fuel kids' ideas: Grahamfuls. Five different flavors now available.
  • 2013

    HONEY MAID introduces two new Teddy Grahams flavors, now made with real fruit! Strawberry Banana and Apple flavors available.
